Dr. Willer practiced Ophthalmology in Texas and Colorado before relocating to the Gorge. He has received specialized hands-on training in aesthetic medicine. Dr. Willer is the ‘vision’ behind Cascade Eye Center. Dr. Willer also serves on the Advanced Esthetician Rules Advisory Committee; The Dalles Urban Renewal Board; and The Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue Board of Directors.

An Oregon native, Erika is the vision behind Columbia Laser Skin Center. Her past experience in health care empowers each member of the Columbia Laser Skin Center team to care for our clients to the best of their abilities. When not at work Erika spends time with her husband and two children. She also loves to play tennis; early morning runs with her dog Daisy; and kayaking in the beautiful Columbia Gorge

Mickenzie Romero – Advanced RN Injection Specialist
Mickenzie was born and raised in The Dalles. While in college, she was introduced to Columbia Laser Skin Center, and from that point forward knew that aesthetic medicine is where she belonged. She went on to graduate with honors from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelors of Science Nursing.
In her free time Mickenzie is chasing after her daughter; finding joy in every new experience motherhood brings.
Mickenzie’s passion – “To provide an escape, where clients are able to take time to focus on themselves, and know that it is okay to look good and feel good. To allow my clients not to worry about judgment, but rather to know that I am here to support them. I want their results to be just as wonderful as the client wants them to be. Ultimately, I want to be part of the reason the client has more self confidence and positive view on aging.”
Lacey Lloyd – Advanced RN Injection Specialist
Lacey grew up in The Dalles, Oregon and attended Columbia Gorge Community College where she received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2015. She then attended Grand Canyon University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2016.
Lacey was drawn to the nursing field from personal family interactions. Since her nursing career began, Lacey has worked in a variety of settings and has found aesthetics to be particularly exciting and intriguing. Building relationships and being able to provide supportive and comprehensive care is very important to Lacey.
In her free time, Lacey enjoys spending time outside paddle boarding, swimming, and camping. She also enjoys spoiling her dog, Princess. Weather permitting, she finds planting flowers and working in the garden relaxing.
Lacey’s passion – “It’s a privilege to have a role in effecting how people feel about themselves when they look in the mirror and have such a positive impact in boosting their confidence.”
Angie Herriges – Certified Advanced Aesthetician & Medical Assistant
Born and raised in the Columbia Gorge, Angie is a licensed Advanced Esthetician and has received advanced cosmetic laser training. She has been a member of the Columbia Laser Skin Center team since 2007. After wanting to offer a healthy alternative to tanning beds, Angie formed Sun Free, LLC, a spray on tan business located within Columbia Laser Skin Center. Angie is very excited about the new developments in anti-aging skin care. She enjoys helping each client define their skin care goals and achieving the best results possible. Angie currently lives in The Dalles with her husband and two daughters.
Angie’s passion – “There is so much positive energy coming out of Columbia Laser Skin Center. Every day I see clients who are happy to be here.Staff that is happy to be here. The environment is electrifying. What can be more exciting than watching clients transform for the better. Just knowing that I am a part of that process keeps me coming to work everyday with a smile on my face.”
Anna Lyons – Certified Advanced Aesthetician & Medical Assistant

A native to the Columbia River Gorge, Anna, is a Licensed Advanced Esthetician. She received her in-depth educational foundation in aesthetics at the Euro Institute of Skin Care. Anna acquired advanced training in skin physiology and cutting edge technologies. She is excited to be a part of the team at Columbia Laser Skin Center.
Anna’s passion – “To create a passion felt experience; blending relaxation with clinical results for our clients. To build, share and apply my knowledge and expertise in the care of our clients’ skin concerns. To care, heal, treat and perfect the art of healthy skin!”
Shawna Russell – Client Care Coordinator
Originally from Central Washington, Shawna received her BA from Eastern Washington University. When not at work or taking part in volunteer opportunities, Shawna enjoys spending her time with her family.
Shawna’s passion – “To me, my job isn’t work, its building relationships. It is finding out what people need, and meeting that need. I want our clients to feel appreciated and care for.”
Nicole Herman-Phelps, Receptionist
Nicole was born and raised in the upper valley of Hood River, OR. She attended Columbia Gorge Community College, Oregon State University and graduated from Portland Beauty School as a licensed nail technician. Nicole and her husband put roots down in The Dalles in 2017. She started working at Columbia Laser Skin Center in 2020 after the birth of her first child, Carter. She enjoys cheering on her NFL team, the Seahawks, reading and watching mysteries, obsessing over the holidays, creating memories with her family and visiting the ocean as much as possible.
Nicole’s passion – “I’m a forever student and I love soaking up knowledge. Keeping up with the latest studies and trends in beauty, science and medicine is critical to educating ourselves and our patients. This education is the key to amazing results. These women are dedicated experts in their field and I’m proud to continue to learn and work alongside them.”
Kara Borton, Receptionist
An Oregon native, Kara has spent much of her working years in the beauty industry. Other passions of hers include animals, music and spending time with her loved ones. She is slowly working on a career in psychology while working for our team.
Kara’s passion – “I pride myself in helping others and I think what we do here is beautiful. Everyone leaves with a smile on their face and a sense of rejuvenation. I love being a part of that!”
